COVID-19 PROCEDURES

 

The safety of our guests and staff has always been top priority at Lift salon. Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic is to implement new, more extensive policies to protect both clients and staff, as well as to contribute to the curbing of community spread COVID-19.

Below you will find our new appointment procedures and updated sanitation protocols. We are happy to answer any questions regarding our new procedures. We wish to provide a safe and satisfying experience for everyone as priority.

New Appointment Procedures:

Face coverings are required for all our guests throughout the entire appointment. All staff will continue to wear face masks at all times during this phase.

All guests will need to provide email and phone numbers for contact tracing.

Clients may not bring additional guests/children to their appointment. However, if a client is a parent/nurse/aid to someone with a disability, some exceptions may be allowed and should be flagged prior to appointment.

Please bring only the essentials into appointment. Leave extra items (coats, purses etc) in vehicle or at home where possible.

Please reschedule the appointment if anyone in the household is ill or showing symptoms of COVID-19.

If you have a medical condition that keeps you from wearing a mask, unfortunately we will be unable to provide our services at this time.

Sanitation Procedures:

Lift salon cleanliness and sanitation is at the forefront of ourdaily routines. Since re-opening in June 2020, floors were deep cleaned, carpets shampooed and air filters replaced. The following sanitation and protective procedures have been implemented:

All shears, brushes, clips and other non-porous items are cleaned and disinfected before each use.

Every hair station, sink head rest, chair mirror or surface touched by guest, will be cleaned and disinfected after each service with PREempt disinfectant

A protective divider separates basins to ensure distancing between guests

All electric tools and appliances such as hair clippers, flat irons are cleaned and disinfected between each guest.

A clean cape and or robe will be used for each hair service and will be laundered after each service.

All items on every station will either be new and unused or disinfected before each

All high touch surfaces, ie: restroom counters, hand rail and door handles, will be disinfected every 60 minutes.

All samples are individually packaged

Service providers must wash hands and be pre-screened upon arrival to work and are required to wear a face mask at all times.
